A "No Signal" or missing camera feed on your InView 360 system means one or more of the four cameras is not sending a video signal to the ECU (the processing unit that creates the surround view). This will appear as a black gap or missing quadrant in the stitched bird's-eye view.
Quick Check — Start Here
- Is the missing feed affecting one quadrant (front, rear, driver side, or passenger side) or the entire display?
- Did this happen suddenly, or has it never worked since installation?
- Was there any recent physical impact, wiring work, or camera replacement on the vehicle?
If the entire display is blank, start with Step 1. If one quadrant is missing or black, start with Step 3.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
1. Check ECU power
If the entire surround view display is blank, the ECU may not be receiving power.
- Confirm the ECU is powered on — check for any indicator lights on the unit
- Check the ECU power connection and confirm the power wire is securely connected to a 12V source
- Confirm the ground wire is connected to the bare chassis metal
- Try power cycling the ECU — disconnect power for 30 seconds, then reconnect
2. Check the monitor connection
- Confirm the video cable between the ECU and monitor is firmly connected at both ends
- Make sure the monitor is set to the correct input
- Try a different video cable between the ECU and monitor to rule out a cable fault
3. Identify which camera quadrant is affected
The InView 360 system has four cameras:
- Front camera
- Rear camera
- Driver side camera
- Passenger side camera
Note which quadrant shows No Signal or appears black — this tells you which camera or cable to inspect.
4. Check the camera cable connection
- Locate the cable for the affected camera and unplug it at both ends — at the camera and at the ECU input
- Inspect the connector for bent pins, loose fit, dirt, or moisture
- Firmly reconnect both ends
- Check the full cable run for damage, pinch points, or sharp bends — pay special attention to areas near doors, hinges, or frame edges
5. Swap the camera cable
- Temporarily swap the cable from the affected camera with the cable from a working camera
- If the No Signal moves to the other quadrant, the cable is faulty and needs to be replaced
- If the No Signal stays in the same quadrant, the issue is with the camera itself or the ECU input port
6. Test the camera on a different ECU input
- Connect the affected camera to a different ECU input port
- If the image appears, the original ECU input port may be faulty
- If the image still doesn't appear, the camera unit itself is likely faulty
7. Recalibrate the stitching
If the camera feed is restored but the surround view image looks misaligned or has visible seams after reconnecting a camera, the system needs to be recalibrated.

Common Causes at a Glance
| Cause | How to Fix |
|---|---|
| ECU is not receiving power | Check power and ground connections, power cycle |
| Wrong monitor input | Press Input/Source and select the correct input |
| Loose camera cable | Reseat at both ends, inspect for damage |
| Damaged cable | Swap with a known working cable |
| Faulty ECU input port | Test the camera on a different port |
| Faulty camera | Test with a known working camera |
| Stitching misalignment after repair | Recalibrate using the stitching guide |
