RD-24E1S All-In-One Radar + Camera System With Monitor

The RD-24E1S is a blind spot detection system that combines a radar sensor and camera into a single unit. It delivers visual and audible alerts when objects or people are detected in the vehicle's blind spots. The system includes an FHD monitor with multi-channel display capability and supports up to three cameras total.

Note: The camera lens is adjustable. Unscrew the back slightly to reposition.

Connect the radar/camera unit to port RH on the harness
Input 1 is dedicated to the radar camera; radar will not alert unless triggered

Installation & Setup

Step 1: Mount and wire the monitor

Connect the monitor to the power harness using the wire reference above. Connect power to ignition or switched accessory power, not directly to the battery.

Step 2: Connect the radar/camera unit

Plug the radar/camera into port RH on the harness. Position the camera to cover the intended blind spot area.

Step 3: Configure display settings

Use the PIP button to toggle between single, dual, or triple view
Press CA.SEL to switch between camera channels

Settings & Configuration

Mirror Mode Navigate: Settings > Channel > Mirror > On/Off Toggles between mirror and normal image orientation per channel.

PIP Mode Controls how multiple camera channels are displayed on screen simultaneously.

Trigger Delay Sets the delay before the camera activates after a trigger signal is received.

Tachometer Setting Locks the monitor to two channels. Manual channel switching is disabled unless the system is triggered.

Radar Settings

Volume and sensitivity are adjustable
Fixed Mode: Default radar behavior
Programmable Mode: Fully customizable radar triggers and responses

Camera Compatibility

Only FHD cameras are supported. AHD and CVBS cameras are not compatible with this system.

Common Issues

Symptom	What to Check
Radar not alerting	Confirm system is triggered; radar only activates when triggered
Wrong channel displaying	Press CA.SEL to switch channels; verify Input 1 is assigned to radar camera
Camera image mirrored	Adjust Mirror Mode in Settings > Channel > Mirror
No power to monitor	Check Red wire connection and fuse
Cannot switch channels manually	Check if Tachometer Setting is enabled; disable to restore manual switching
