Default Login Credentials

If your login isn't working, the password may have been changed by a previous installer or administrator. Contact our support team to reset it.
Power Wiring at a Glance
| Wire Color | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Red | Battery — connects to constant 12V power |
| Yellow | Ignition — powers the DVR on with your vehicle key |
| Black | Ground — connects to bare metal on the vehicle chassis |
If your DVR is wired to the yellow (ignition) wire only, it will not turn on unless your key is in the ON or ACC position.
DVR Status Light Colors
The light on the front of your DVR tells you what it's doing at a glance.

| Purple | Starting up — give it a moment |
| Green | Vehicle is moving |
| Blue | Vehicle is idle or parked |
| Red | Error detected — check the DVR menu for details |
| Yellow | Ignition is off / DVR is shutting down |
Quick Settings Reference
How to log in: Turn on the DVR, right-click on the live view screen, or press the Menu button, then enter your username and password.
How to format your SD card or hard drive: Login > Master Menu > Tools > Format > select your storage device > confirm
How to perform a factory reset: Login > Tools > Default Config > confirm
Note: this will erase all settings, including WiFi, cellular, and channel configuration.
How to set your time zone: Login > Date and Time Menu > adjust the GMT offset to match your location
How to mirror or flip a camera image: Login > Basic Settings > Mirror/Flip > choose horizontal (mirror) or vertical (flip)
Note: 480P cameras support mirroring only, not flipping.
How to set a default display channel (5500 Series): Basic Settings > Display Settings > Live View > Select CH

Setting up 4G cellular: Login > Peripherals > Cellular > enter your carrier APN > set Cellular to ON > Save

Setting up WiFi: Login > Peripherals > Wi-Fi Setup > set Enable to ON > set GET IP Mode to DHCP > Search > select your network > Save
Note: WiFi network names cannot have spaces. If your network name has spaces, rename it using underscores (example: My_Network).
Checking your connection status: Press the blue Info button on your remote to open the System Info screen. Look for:

Common Issues and Quick Fixes

| DVR has no power | Check red and yellow wire connections; check the 3A inline fuse |
| Black screen on the monitor | Check monitor input; older DVRs support 480P/720P only — confirm camera resolution matches |
| The camera image is mirrored or upside down | Login > Basic Settings > Mirror/Flip |
| Hard drive error | Confirm the drive tray is locked and the green light is on |
| SD card not detected | Reinsert firmly; format via Tools > Format |
| DVR not connecting to the portal | Check APN settings and confirm data plan is active with your carrier |
| The time is wrong on the footage | Login > Date and Time Menu > adjust GMT offset |
